Part of the Regenerate Now family

Your event is a living system.

Regenerate Events is a guided conversation for event planners and teams. See what your gathering gives and takes, from the first idea to what remains after everyone goes home, and design a practical plan for your next event.

A different question

Most events are run like machines: on time, on budget, on to the next one. Regenerate Events asks what conditions would allow life within and around your event to flourish, before, during, and after it.

An event gathers people, money, materials, energy, and attention in one place for a short time, then disperses. Some of what it touches is renewed. Some is quietly used up. Regenerate Events helps you see the difference, and decide what to change while decisions for your next event are still open.

Beyond the run of show

Ten dimensions of your event, read through the lives it touches. These are some of the places the conversation goes.

Crew and freelancers

Peak-and-crash rhythms, who absorbs late changes, payment timing, recovery after load-out, and who gets to decide on site.

Attendees

Belonging, access in every sense, consent and opt-out in participatory moments, and who might be excluded or uncomfortable.

The host place

What neighbors experience, which local businesses benefit, who bears noise or price effects, and what remains when you leave.

Materials and energy

Travel, venue energy, food, materials, and waste, with a clear line between what is measured, what is estimated, and what is unknown.

Purpose and story

Why this gathering exists beyond the deliverable, and the stories that shape it, like “the show must go on.”

Learning and legacy

Whether debriefs change the next event, and what participants, teams, and places carry forward afterward.

How it works

One conversation, eight stages, about 30–45 minutes. You can pause at any point and come back.

  1. 1ListenQuestions about your event, your role, and what you can influence, a few at a time.
  2. 2SenseA reflection of what it heard, checked with you, and the patterns beneath the symptoms.
  3. 3MapThe people, flows, and tensions around your event, and an honest ecosystem snapshot.
  4. 4ReframeYour core challenge, seen from several contexts and restated as a system condition.
  5. 5ImagineWhat your event would feel like in five years if it were genuinely thriving.
  6. 6DesignUp to five opportunities, with their tradeoffs, across self, relationships, and system.
  7. 7ActExperiments tied to your next event, each with an owner, an indicator, and a review date.
  8. 8RegenerateCome back after the event to compare what happened with what you expected.

What you leave with

  • An ecosystem snapshot. Each dimension read as a strength, a mixed pattern, a concern, or unknown, with evidence and confidence.
  • A reframed challenge. One sentence that shifts a symptom into a condition you can work with.
  • A grounded vision. Your event’s future, in your words, with its tensions named.
  • A plan scaled to you. One to five experiments for your next event, a one-year roadmap, and one first step within your reach.

Honest by design

  • One perspective, named as one. It reads what you share as your account and asks whose voices are missing.
  • No invented numbers. No scores, percentages, or impact figures it can’t support.
  • No greenwashing. It won’t call an event carbon neutral, zero waste, or regenerative without verified measurement.
  • Your conversation stays with you. Sessions are kept in your browser, not stored on our server, and shared only if you include one with feedback.

A reflective practice framework, not a validated diagnosis. Safety, legal, accessibility, and environmental decisions still need qualified professionals.

About

People over production. People over profit.

Regenerate Events draws on the practice of Ricardo (Ric) Victores in Experience Design for Transformation, regenerative and conscious leadership, living-systems thinking, and events and gatherings as containers for transformation.

It is part of Regenerate Now, a family of guides that help people, organizations, and places understand themselves as living systems. The framework is a work in progress, shaped by the people who test it.
